Rush Hour (Group of Seven)
Dereliction: Heading south of Maple Creek, Saskatchewan, following a lonely, dusty gravel road. About a kilometer walk into grass rangeland, on a low brow of the Cypress Hills, was a perfect traffic jam of seven abandoned old cars and trucks, rusting away into the prairie. A modern pickup slowed down to check us out, neighbour patrol. I waved my tripod at them, they continued their journey.
